'Kitsune'
From Japanese folklore, kitsune are supernatural foxes whose powers grow with age. They shift into human form, and our original 'Kitsune' design is supposed to caputre this idea, using traditional Japanese clothing and patterns.

'Vaporwave'
A KunaiWear original character inspired by the gunslingers of anime past and present, from Cowboy Bebop's Spike to Black Lagoon's Revy. Electric blues and striking purples take inspiration from the 'Vaporwave' art genre, while staying true to anime aesthetics.

'Sakura'
In our quest for samurai-themed inspiration, finding female character references proved challenging, leading to the creation of 'Sakura'. Mirroring her 'Naruto' namesake, Sakura emerges as a formidable warrior. The solemnity of black and white manga aesthetics finds balance in the drifting pink sakura petals floating in the foreground.

Introducing 'Ascend': Embrace duality with our anime angel-devil hybrid design. Uniting celestial grace and infernal allure, this fusion of elements captures the essence of both realms in a single, unique form.

'Heart to Heart'
Certain mediums are better suited to conveying emotions, and the starkness of black and white manga is one of those art styles. 'Heart to Heart' aims to capture those fleeting moments of uncertainty or burgeoning intimate connections —its interpretation is intended to be left open to the viewer.

'Angel'
'Angel' is part of a duel collection, with the sister design 'Devil', also available only at KunaiWear. With many designers focusing on angelic and heavenly features, we went for a more mysterious, modern and humanoid design, similar to the 'Angel Devil' found in the 'Chainsaw Man' series. Ours however, prefers a modern streetwear fit, to a suit and tie.

'Speed'
Considered by many to be one of the greatest anime movies of all time, our 'Speed' design takes inspiration of course, from 'Akira'. Our original character 'Speed', is our contemporary take on the 'Akira' style, while still paying tribute to the striking red colour palette of the 1988 original.

Across various anime styles, personas, and forms, our designs portray resilient individuals, strong warriors and iconic fashion fits. 'Boys Cry Too', a component of a two-piece collection alongside 'It's Okay To Cry', conceived to convey and share another part on the spectrum of human emotion.
